Kings Road House - Rudolf Schindler
Considered to be the first example of “modern architecture”, the Kings Road House (aka Schindler House) was built in LA and completed in 1922.  The house is actually two separate apartments situated into two interlocking “L”s.  The house served as Rudolf Schindler’s residence.  Shortly after construction, rival architect Richard Neutra inhabited the second apartment.
